Finding Your
Next Chapter
“
This isn't a personality test or a resume review. These questions are designed to surface what you already know about yourself — your strengths, your energy, and what a genuinely fulfilling path forward might look like. There are no right answers. Be honest.
01
Energy & Flow
What lights you up vs. what drains you
Question 1.1
Tell me about a day at work that didn't feel like work. What were you doing?
Think about a specific moment, not a general feeling. What task, interaction, or project had you completely absorbed?
Question 1.2
What part of your current role do you finish and feel genuinely satisfied — even if it's hard?
Not what you're good at. What actually leaves you feeling like you accomplished something real.
Question 1.3
What drains you — even when you do it well?
Being skilled at something and being energized by it are two very different things. What falls into the "good at it but depleted by it" category?
Why This Matters
The gap between what energizes you and what depletes you is often where career dissatisfaction lives — and where the biggest opportunities for realignment exist.
02
Your Reputation
What others already know about you
Question 2.1
What do people consistently come to you for — at work or personally?
Think broadly. It could be a skill, a perspective, or just a way of handling situations. What makes people seek you out specifically?
Question 2.2
If three colleagues described your greatest professional strength, what would they say — and do you agree with them?
Sometimes our reputation reveals strengths we've stopped noticing because they feel effortless to us.
03
The Bigger Picture
What you actually want from work
Question 3.1
If money wasn't a factor for one year, what would you spend your time organizing, building, or doing?
Not a vacation. What meaningful work would you wake up and actually want to do every day?
Question 3.2
What does a good day at work look like — not perfectly, just better than most?
Describe the environment, the type of work, the people around you. What makes a workday feel worthwhile?
Question 3.3
What would have to be true about your next role for you to feel like you made the right move in two years?
Think practically. Income, flexibility, growth, purpose — what combination matters most to you?
A Note on This Process
There are no wrong answers here. The goal isn't to arrive at a job title — it's to surface patterns that point toward work that is sustainable, energizing, and aligned with who you actually are.
